The 2026 Summer CSA at Ridgewood Commons is Now Open for Sign Ups!

We are excited to announce the details of our Summer CSA at Ridgewood Commons! We will continue to work with our farm partner Norwich Meadows Farm. For those of you less familiar with Norwich Meadows, they are a certified organic farm run by farmers Zaid and Haifa Kurdieh out of Norwich, New York. You may have seen their stand at farmer’s markets across the city - they produce some of the most delicious and diverse produce around.

The Summer CSA will include 22 weeks of pick-ups in total, every Saturday from 10am-12pm from June through November at Ridgewood Commons at 585 Woodward Ave between Grove and Menahan. Exact dates TBA.

The vegetable share includes approximately 10 to 15 produce varieties each week, depending on the season. Additionally, there will be different add on shares you can purchase:

Fruit
Eggs
Cheese
Yogurt
Whole chicken
Variety meat

PRICING

Payment for the Winter/Spring CSA and add ons will go through Ridgewood Farmshare’s online store.. Vegetable shares cost $835 for the 22 weeks (about $38/week.) Please note, there is a 3% processing fee included in the price of the share and the add ons. You will notice there is an additional pricing tier for the Vegetable CSA for $850 - this includes an additional $15 of support that goes directly to the operations of Ridgewood Commons and programming like the twice weekly food pantry, film screenings, the gym, yoga, kid’s tutoring, writer’s group, Sunday dinners, art workshops, maker’s space, NOTAFLOF events and workshops and so much more. SPLIT CSA

A great way for members of all income levels to alleviate costs is to split a CSA share with a friend or neighbor. We have been offering split shares during our Winter CSA and it’s worked out really nicely.We’ve created a spreadsheet for anyone who is interested in splitting a CSA with someone else. Once paired up, it will be up to you and your partner to figure out how you want to purchase and split it up throughout the season. NOW ACCEPTING SNAP!

We are very excited to announce Norwich Meadows now has the ability to accept SNAP as payment for CSA’s. SNAP is only for vegetable CSA’s - all add on’s must be paid in full at time of purchase. All eligible members will pay in person at pick up on a monthly schedule. If you are currently receiving SNAP and are interested in signing up using your benefits, email us at ridgewoodfarmshare@gmail.com and we can work this out with you directly.

PAYMENT PLANS

We are also able to offer a limited number of payment plans for members. Payment plans are only for vegetable CSA’s - all add on’s must be paid in full at time of purchase. Payment plans can be made in two installments:

Half the share price up front with a discount code in the online store
The second half paid via Squarespace invoice for June 1st, 2026

DISCOUNTED SHARES

While we are not able to offer sliding scale pricing at this time, we are able to offer a handful of shares at a 50% discount for lower income folks. If you qualify as lower income and/or have previously received assistance in past seasons, email us at ridgewoodfarmshare@gmail.com and we can work this out with you directly. To be as equitable as possible, these discounted shares will be selected randomly from the pool of those who apply in an honor system fashion. With that in mind, please closely consider your financial need and food insecurity when reaching out. Our previous Summer provider Rock Steady provides a guideline for their sliding scale that can be used as a resource for this decision.
