Ridgewood Commons will continue to be a home for mutual aid, community building, and a space for collective thought & experimentation in Ridgewood, Queens.
Governance & Groups
Ridgewood Commons operates under a spokes council governance model, with the goal of fostering cooperative skill building, diverse community representation and influence, and organizational resilience.

Food Pantry, Gym (Ridgewood Commons Strength), READgewood Tutoring, Spokescouncil Planning, Sunday Dinners, Technical Collective (FKA Basement), Tuesday Reading Group, Writing Group, Yoga and Meditation, Commmunications & Tech, Finance, Fundraising & Grants, Programming & Rentals, Facilities
Programming
We host free community programs and projects year-round, including: a Food Pantry, Communal Sunday Dinners, Film Screenings, a Community Gym, Yoga & Meditation, a Maker Space, Writers’ Workshop, Reading Groups, Arts & Crafts Workshops, a CSA, along with Talks and other skill-sharing and educational events. Propose public programming.
Rentals
The space can be rented for a variety of purposes: from presentations and workshops, to parties and as a film/photography shooting location. Rent the space.
